Kearney Runza Captures Cornhusker League Title

Kearney Runza captured the American Legion Cornhusker League championship on Monday, with a 10-5 win over Pinnacle Bank (Lincoln Southwest).

Kearney used a seven-run fifth inning to overtake Pinnacle Bank, who committed six errors on the night.

Pinnacle Bank won the Mike Peterson Legion Tournament over the weekend, which Kearney Runza also participated in.
