Aquinas gave Malcolm a dose of its own medicine Thursday night. The Clippers, known for their strong defense, were shut out on their home field 12-0 by Aquinas.

The Monarchs took an early lead and never let Malcolm get into the ball game. Aquinas's defense kept Clippers running back Joe Marshall in check, never letting him get free for a score. Both teams had little offensive success on a slippery and soaked field.

Both teams will qualify for the playoffs. Aquinas is a potential 1 seed in Class C2.
