Knights Run Over Bearcats In Regular Season Finale, 28-7

The Knights of Lincoln Southeast rolled up 339 rushing yards in their 28-7 win over Kearney Friday night at Foster Field on the campus of UNK.
Southeast's Zach Taylor and Jacob Salomans both ran for over 100 yards and both scored two touchdowns. Taylor carried the ball 22 times for 180 yards in the first half, before Salomans replaced Taylor and carried the ball 16 times for 114 yards in the second half.
The Knights held the Bearcats to 179 yards of total offense. Kearney's only score of the game came on their first drive.
Lincoln Southeast advances to the Class A playoffs for the first time since the 2005 season. The Knights begin their quest for a Class A title next Friday.
