Class B Football Playoff Previews
Here's a look at some of the Class B football playoff matchups for the first round.

#1 Aurora (9-0) vs. #8 Alliance (3-6)

The Aurora Huskies and the Alliance Bulldogs will meet Friday night in their first round playoff game in Aurora. The Huskies have not lost a game in the regular season and are averaging 39.5 points a game. The Huskies are the defending champion in Class B.
Alliance has wins over Lexington, Holdrege and Scottsbluff this season.
#3 Adams Central (8-1) vs. #6 Seward (6-3)

The Patriots of Adams Central take on the Bluejays of Seward Friday night in their first-round matchup.
Adams Central enters the playoffs with only one loss coming to Aurora at the end of the regular season, 19-9. Seward rallied for four-straight wins to end the regular season, including a double-overtime win against Columbus.
#5 Crete (5-4) vs. #4 Plattsmouth (7-2)

Crete faces Plattsmouth Friday night to begin the Class B football playoffs. The Cardinals enter the playoffs after winning the last four games of the regular season to Schuyler, Norris, Beatrice and Lincoln Pius X. Crete rebounded at the end of the season after suffering an opening season losses to Aurora and Adams Central.
Plattsmouth enters the playoffs with wins over Norris, Platteview, Gretna, South Sioux City, Ralston, Omaha Gross Catholic and Nebraska City. Their only two losses in the season came to Omaha Skutt Catholic and a three-overtime loss to Blair.
The winner of the Crete/Plattsmouth game faces the winner of the Omaha Skutt/South Sioux City game.
#7 Gretna (4-5) vs. #2 Waverly (8-1)

Gretna travels to face Waverly in the opening game of the Class B football playoffs for both schools Friday night.
Gretna recorded wins over Blair, Columbus Lakeview, an overtime win against Beatrice, and Platteview.
Waverly recorded seven-straight wins before losing to Omaha Skutt Catholic. The Vikings then closed out the regular season with a 35-7 win over Gretna.
This is a rematch of last week's game.
The winner of Waverly/Gretna will face the winner of Blair/Omaha Gross Catholic next Friday, November 6.
