Zach Zobel threw a school-record four touchdowns, three caught by Sam Burtch, as Elmwood-Murdock beat Lincoln Christian 41-21 Thursday night at Seacrest Field.

Zobel connected on 8 of 13 passes for 194 yards through heavy rains in the first round of the playoffs. The E-M quarterback credits his chemistry with Burtch for their big nights. Zobel and Burtch have been playing together since their youth.

Elmwood-Murdock advances to the second round of the playoffs.
