GICC Shuts Out Fillmore Central
GICC advances to the second round with a 29-0 win over Fillmore Central.

Casey Wiens scored twice for Grand Island Central Catholic and the Crusaders defense held tight as GICC defeated Fillmore Central Thursday night at Memorial Stadium. GICC advances to the second round of the playoffs with the win.
Wiens rushed for one touchdown and caught his other score, which started the scoring for GICC. Dale Curran broke free for a 55-yard scamper in the 4th quarter that sealed the Crusaders' win.
