To be a state champion means to be able to win in all phases of the game. No. 2 Lincoln Southeast showed they can win with defense on Friday.
The Knights forced four turnovers against the Lincoln Northeast Rockets, and held on to win 21-7.
Senior running back Zach Taylor had 139 yards and a touchdown on the ground for the Knights.
Lincoln Southeast advances to play Lincoln Southwest on Friday, November 6. The Knights defeated the Silver Hawks earlier in the season 17-12.

I wish Waverly would play Southeast so they could know what it's like to play a real team. Waverly would get crushed.
