Islanders Win Playoff Game Over Omaha North
Omaha The Grand Island Islanders will face Elkhorn next Friday in the second round of the state playoffs.

Grand Island improved to 7-3 on the season with a 31-18 victory over Omaha North in a Class A first-round playoff game Friday night.
The win moves the Islanders into a second-round game next Friday at Memorial Stadium in Grand Island.
Adam Werner was 6-for-6 throwing the ball for 140 yards for the Islanders. Aaron Roberg scored on a 4-yard run in the second quarter and caught a 52-yard pass from Werner for a touchdown in the third quarter.
Kelen Werner added a 5-yard TD run in the third quarter and a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter.
