The Aurora Huskies advance to the second round of the State Football Playoffs with a 54-18 win over Alliance.

Aurora quarterback Tyson Broekemeier threw for 153 yards and three touchdowns. He also added a 90-yard touchdown run for the game's first score, helping the Huskies to a 27-0 lead after one quarter of play. Cody Anthony from Alliance carried the ball 18 times for 70 yards.

Aurora will travel to face McCook in the second round as McCook defeated Ogallala 13-2 Saturday.
