Dalton Sealey scored three touchdowns Wednesday afternoon in Hastings, leading St. Cecilia into the Class C1 quarterfinals. Sealey had touchdown runs of 1 and 3 yards, along with a 29 yard reception, which started the scoring for the Bluehawks. St. Cecilia improves to 10-0 on the year with the win.
Sealey finished with 119 rushing yards. While his individual effort was impressive, the team's defensive play may have been more stellar. St. Cecilia allowed only 169 total yards while keeping Gordon-Rushville out of the end zone. Paul Goedert led the Bluehawks with 7 tackles.
St. Cecilia faces the GICC vs. Crofton winner in the next round.
