Full Dose of Hampton Running Game Lifts Hawks

Alex Dose rushed for 251 yards to lead Hampton over Sterling Wednesday night in the Class C2 playoffs. Dose broke free for three touchdown runs, including two in the second half which sealed the Hawks' 35-12 win. Hampton improves to 9-1 on the year. The Hawks will face Ewing in the quarterfinals.
Jake Wirthele led Sterling with 114 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
