Lincoln Pius X Sweeps Waverly
Lincoln Southwest High School Lincoln Pius X's hopes of repeating as Class B volleyball champions are still alive after a sweep of Waverly.

Lincoln Pius X made quick work of Waverly in their District B-1 Semifinal match on Thursday, sweeping the Vikings 25-19, 25-19, 25-15.
Cassie Effken led the Thunderbolts with 13 kills, while fellow sophomore Lauren Smith had 9 kills.
Junior Setter Haley Heibel had five aces for the 'Bolts, who recorded 10 on the night as a team. Elle Ross had 22 digs for the defending champs.
Lincoln Pius X advances to take on Beatrice in the district final match on Friday at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Southwest High School.
