Silver Hawks Get Revenge, Advance To Semifinals
Lincoln Southwest advenges their regular season loss to Lincoln Southeast, 14-7.

The Lincoln Southeast Knights won the regular season meeting.
But the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks won the quarterfinal matchup, 14-7 - advancing them to the state semifinals.
Lincoln Southwest's Austin Tompkins had two interceptions and Tay Bender had one interception and one fumble recovery in the win.
Southwest's Rylan Cotton had 20 carries for 110 yards and one touchdown and Southeast's Zach Taylor had 29 carries for 105 yards.
The Silver Hawks got out to an early 14-0 lead, occuring on a Jeff Seybold TD run and a touchdown run from Rylan Cotton.
The Lincoln Southeast defense rose to the occasion stopping the Silver Hawks on two fourth down situations. Southeast didn't score until the fourth quarter - when Derrius Vick found Derek Shouse for a 35-yard touchdown, cutting the Southwest lead to 14-7.
Southeast had one last chance, but the pass fell short - Southwest wins and advances to the state semifinals.
