Cody Klug had seven receptions for 211 yards, a Class C-2 playoff record to lead Hartington Cedar Catholic to a 26-20 win over Cambridge, and a trip to Memorial Stadium for the Class C-2 Championship.
Klug broke the record set by former Husker and Tecumseh standout Matt Davison. Davison set the mark of 206 yards back in 1996 against Hebron.
Klug also caught the game-winning touchdown with one second left to give Hartington Cedar Catholic the win.
Hartington Cedar Catholic is seeking their first state championship in school history. Their only previous appearance in the state championship game was back in 2001 when they finished runner-up to Lawrence-Nelson.
