Ponca Edges Aquinas, Advances to Class C-2 Championship, 21-14
Ponca defeats Aquinas to head to the Class C-2 Championship.

Ponca hosted David City Aquinas Tuesday night and prevailed 21-14 to head to Memorial Stadium for the Class C-2 Championship game Tuesday morning.
Ponca took a three-touchdown lead into the locker room, but Aquinas found a way to find the end zone. Aquinas scored in both the third and fourth quarters, but the clock ran out on David City Aquinas and their season.
Ponca (12-0) meets Hartington Cedar Catholic (10-2). Neither school has ever won a state championship in football.
