Behind a team-high 14 points from John Paul Franco, the Junior Jays of Omaha Creighton Prep defeated Omaha Bryan 62-50 Thursday afternoo to advance to the Class A semifinals on Friday.
Joe Trouba had 13 points and Caleb Steffensmeier added 12 in the win.
Creighton Prep faces Norfolk in a Class A semifinal at 7 p.m. Friday.
