Lincoln Southeast High School has named Kathi Wieskamp as the new
athletic director, according to Southeast Principal Pat Hunter-Pirtle.

Wieskamp taught physical education at Southeast from 1989-2006, and was head volleyball coach for the Southeast Knights from 1989-2004.
Currently she has served as assistant athletic director at Lincoln North
Star High School.

Wieskamp received her Bachelors of Science degree in Physical education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she played volleyball for the Cornhuskers. She received a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Doane College.

Wieskamp will assume her new duties at Southeast this summer.

“She will do an incredible job,” Hunter-Pirtle said.
