Lincoln Police officer assaulted during hit-and-run investigation

A Lincoln resident is facing charges after police say an officer was assaulted Friday night.


Lincoln Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 24-year-old woman.


Saturday was the 18th annual National Adoption Day. According to the National Adoption Coalition about 5,000 children were expected to be adopted nationwide, 150 children in Nebraska.


Nebraska regulators are set to decide Monday whether to approve or deny an in-state route for the proposed Keystone XL pipeline. It's the last major regulatory hurdle facing project operator TransCanada Corp.
