For many Nebraska livestock producers, the tough times are raising stress and anxiety.
A common question: "What should I do?"
David Goeller is a farm transition specialist for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
He says a well-organized plan of action would be a good place to start.
First, he says, look at urgent issues to handle -- deadlines and the like.
Then producers need to identify what is of long-term importance to their businesses and their families.
Goeller also suggests producers think of alternatives and other options for their businesses.
