Will Eisner (1917-2005) was a pioneer who developed the American comic book industry. He created extraordinary graphic novels for three decades and contributed to the formal study of comics by authoring textbooks.

The exhibition, contains 43 large Eisner giclées, selected from landmark parallel exhibitions held at Le Musée de la Bande Dessinée in Angoulême (the national comics museum of France) and The Society of Illustrators in New York in 2017 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Eisner’s birth.

The exhibit will run from February 3 – April 30, 2018, is free to the public, and accessible during the hours that Love Library is open, https://libraries.unl.edu/hours.

Filled with gut-busting humor and a delightfully catchy score, not to mention puppets, Avenue Q is a truly unique show that has quickly become a favorite for audiences everywhere. Although the show addresses humorous adult issues, it is similar to a beloved children’s show; a place where puppets are friends, monsters are good and life lessons are learned.
