Grand Island Fire Crews are investigating the cause of a shed and trailer fire at 1708 W Lincoln Avenue.
The fire started in the shed behind the trailer early Sunday afternoon. Wind helped the flames spread to the trailer and a nearby truck.
One person was taken to St. Francis Medical Center due to smoke inhalation from trying to rescue his belongings. Fire officials say that is not advised.
"It's not anything like a campfire or anything else where it's just natural wood fibers. Between all the modern materials used to build stuff, the carpet the fibers and couches and other, you know it's very dangerous smoke," said GIFD Captain Brad Laub.
The fire left some of the surrounding trailers without power. City Crews arrived on scene shortly after the fire was put out. They said it would only take an hour to get the power back.
