May Events:
  • Heart Walk, Saturday, May 7: The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's premier event in the community. It promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment. The event will be held at Haymarket Park. Gates open at 8:00 a.m., Opening Ceremonies are at 9:30, with the walk beginning at 10:00 a.m.
  • Friday Nights Live at SouthPointe Pavilions Kickoff, Friday, May 27: Join the 10/11 News team as we kick off Friday Nights Live with The Wheezetones. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Admission is free but donations are strongly requested to benefit the Child Advocacy Center, providing a safe, child-friendly location for conducting forensic interviews and medical evaluations for abused children in Southeast Nebraska. Concert begins at 6:30 p.m. in the center courtyard.
  • 14th Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon, Tuesday, May 31: This event supports the programs of the Food Bank of Lincoln, allowing them to feed the hungry citizens of our community. Tickets are $25 each and include your choice of a hand-crafted, original pottery bowl. Get your tickets now at lincolnfoodbank.org

June Events:
  • Fresh Start Mini-Golf Tournament, Saturday, June 4: Enjoy one round of mini-golf, with a raffle and prizes! The event takes place from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Adventure Golf (5901 S. 56th St.) in Lincoln. All proceeds benefit Fresh Start. Registration is open until all spots are filled.
