September Events:
  • Husker Heroes, September 9: This great event is a chance for individuals with disabilities and their families to hang out with Husker athletes at Memorial Stadium. All ages and abilities are welcome. More information here.
October Events:
  • Go Red For Women Expo, October 12: Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year - more than all cancers combined. Hundreds will unite at this event to encourage women and their families to take action to live a healthier life. This year's event will be at the Cornhusker Marriott. Learn more and get tickets here.
  • Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, October 22: This walk raises awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer. Held at Holmes Lake, it's a noncompetitive 3 to 5 mile walk that brings people together to make a difference for everyone who has been touched by breast cancer. Learn more and register your team here.
