10/11 Cares was proud to be a part of the world autism awareness day celebration at the Lincoln Children's Museum. The museum opened it's doors to families of kids with autism Sunday. They offered free admission from 6-8pm. Besides the normal fun stuff at the museum, there were extras, including a dance floor, refreshments, face painting and a table with information about autism, among others. 10/11's Ken Siemek was on hand broadcasting the weather live and greeting his many fans. The rest of us welcomed the families into the museum and handed out blue bracelets to show our support.
