10/11 Cares Helps Out Habitat for Humanity

10/11 Cares spent the day lending a hand to a local organization.

Our team members helped out Habitat for Humanity today.

They hung dry wall in a home in south Lincoln, working along side the future owner to get the job done.

Resource Coordinator Michele Williamson says it's important to give low income families the chance to own a home.

She says it helps them overcome the obstacles many underprivileged residents face.

Habitat for Humanity also relies on donations of supplies to keep building homes.

Williamson says they really need help right now if they're going to continue making a difference in people's lives.
