The 10/11 Cares Team at Walk Now for Autism Speaks

The 10/11 Cares Team was at Haymarket Park on Sunday for the Walk Now for Autism Speaks event. Hundreds of walkers crowded the sidewalk, wearing t-shirts with messages of support for the 1 in 110 people living with autism. Mascots and sponsors were there to cheer walkers on.

Our 10/11 Cares Team wore puzzle-piece ribbons to show our support. In addition, 10/11 aired public service announcements promoting the walk. Leading up to the event, the 10/11 newsroom told the stories of local families living with autism. To view those videos, visit our Special Reports page.
