The First Annual Starry Nights Christmas Tree Festival and Gala raised money for the People's City Mission and provided beautiful sights at the same time. Stefanie Warner came up with the idea in a college course, and the people of Lincoln helped bring it to fruition. 18 trees were sponsored by businesses in Lincoln, including one by 10/11 which was decorated by Lee Douglas Interiors. They were auctioned off at the gala by 10/11's own celebrity autioneer Ken Siemek.
Those in attendance enjoyed appetizers and auction items. All involved look forward to a bigger and better festival next year, as the new tradition continues.
