Anonymous Donors Paying Off Layaway Accounts at Omaha Kmart

Anonymous donors have been paying off layaway accounts for some shoppers in Omaha.

The young couples have been making the payments at area Kmart
stores.

A similar incident occurred last week in Plainfield Township, Mich., when a woman paid $500 in layaway bills for some people.

Omaha Kmart assistant manager Roni Meek says it's great to see people care about other people.

The help was a welcome gift for Lori Stearnes, who has seven grandchildren. She had holiday greetings for her Omaha benefactor:
"I just want to say thank you and God bless you and it'll come
back to you."
