Brad's Garden Emerges for Another Year

10/11 Cares has organized a committee made up of station employees who will work the soil in our 10/11 garden and hopefully grow a fine crop of healthy veggies for our fellow employees. This year we'll be attempting to grow a variety of herbs, several kinds of squash, green beans, onions, broccoli, edamame, radishes, cucumbers, assorted peppers and tomatoes.
So far we imported some composted soil, tilled it into the garden, and purchased the plants. Click the picture of Brad to see more pictures of our adventure up to this point. Next up, get everything planted and put up a fence. Stay tuned for updates on how we're doing with weed and pest control, etc. once everything is planted!
