Several communities across Nebraska held Memorial Day festivities, including Superior, which hosted the 21st Annual Victorian Festival. A staple to the festival is the parade, the largest in the area. The temperature almost reached 100 degrees, but that didn't stop people from remembering their loved ones and honoring those who have died in our nation's service. The parade wound through downtown with flags, hot rods, candy being thrown to the youngest specatators, military vehicles, floats, horses, and more.
