Husker Harvest Days has ended, but one Grand Island family's service project will carry on.

A few years ago, Craig and Kathy Siemon started asking other show-goers to help them help wounded soldiers by giving baseball caps for those recovering at the Army Hospital in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

They've found many show exhibitors are willing to donate.

"It just really makes you feel good that these people, I guess that we're making these people aware of where we're sending the caps and they're excited to give caps and makes them feel good that they know where they're being sent to," said Kathy Siemon.
