There's Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and now Giving Tuesday.
It's a national campaign to turn the focus of the holiday season from shopping to giving.
Tabitha is one of the local organizations taking part.
Their Meals on Wheels program serves 420 seniors every day.
Volunteers say helping others is a reminder of what's really important this holiday season.
Five year Meals on Wheels volunteer Cindi Hahn says, "I think it just makes you feel so good to be part of these peoples' lives. A lot of them are elderly and they've got great stories to tell and we get more out of it, probably, than they do at all."
Tabitha staff say it's easy to get caught up in the holiday season and forget there are those who can't afford basic necessities, much less presents.
Heath Stukenholtz, Vice President of the Tabitha Foundation, says, "As you think about giving during the holiday season, I think it's important to also consider giving back, to local organizations such as Tabitha who do so many great things for those in need in our community."
Many of the organizations involved in Giving Tuesday are asking for both volunteers and monetary donations.
Tabitha isn't the only local organization taking part in Giving Tuesday.
