Jared Crick Gets A Surprise Award Presentation

Crick Received the the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team Trophy at Roper Elementary in Lincoln. The award is one of the most prestigious off-field awards in college football. Crick was honored for his service to the Lincoln community. He says he was surprised when he received the award.

"It's crazy. You know we were just expecting to come talk to elementary school kids about not doing drugs or alcohol, cause it's something that we've done plenty of times before. And out come my parents and out comes the award. So it was crazy. I was not expecting it at all, so one of the few times that surprised me like this," said Crick.

Nebraska Athletic Director Tom Osborne was also there cheering Crick on.
