A garden walk helps those with developmental disabilities.
The 44th Annual Munroe-Meyer Guild Garden Walk is in Omaha Sunday, June 10.
Rain or Shine, six homeowners will display their beautiful Spring gardens. Experts will be on hand to give green thumb advice as well.
More than $1-million dollars has been raised for the Munroe-Meyer Institute since the walk began.
The institute aids in research for for kids and adults with developmental disabalities.
"For me personally, not only is it looking at beautiful gardens, but it's what the money is going towards. It's going to support the Munroe-Meyers Institute," Walk Co-Chair Kim Bainbridge said.
The walk - this Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM
Advance tickets are $15. You may buy them until this Friday. Tickets are available for $20 the day of the event.
