A Nebraska businessman wants to help FFA members learn more about agriculture careers.

So Ron Grapes, who farms near Big Springs, Neb., has created an endowment fund that will award grants to FFA members who want to complete an agricultural internship, conduct an experiment or own their own agricultural business.

Grapes says he hopes the grants will help create new agricultural leaders.

Grapes says he was in FFA when he was in school, and he wanted others to help fulfill their dreams.

The amount of Grapes' gift to FFA was not disclosed.
