Getting a trim this afternoon could have helped kids living with a difficult disease.
The Hair Lounge in Lincoln held a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation today.
They offered car washes, a bake sale and hair cuts.
All the proceeds will go to the foundation, which supports Juvenile Diabetes research.
This is the fourth year in a row the salon has held the fundraiser.
Organizers say the cause is personal, because several salon employees have family members with Juvenile Diabetes.
The salon is hoping to raise $7,000 for the foundation through a series of fundraisers.
