It's that time of year again. Stores are bustling, those unavoidable Christmas tunes are playing, and needy parents around the world are wondering how they are going to make Christmas special for their kids this year. You can help by filling a shoe box or shoe box sized plastic container with goodies and drop it off at collection sites around the city for Operation Christmas Child. This program has been delivering Christmas cheer to kids around the world since1993.
Local volunteers are hoping to collect 5,000 boxes, which will most likely go to Mexico and Haiti. To find out how you can volunteer call (402) 467-6272 or click on the link. You can also click the link to watch the morning show interview with the Lincoln coordinator.
