Just one week ago, Bryan Carroll returned home to his wife and daughter in Lincoln. Carroll spent a year in Iraq serving with the Nebraska National Guard.
10/11 was there to cover the arrival of his unit of 90 soldiers on Saturday. Carroll mentioned on-air that his biggest wish upon returning to Nebraska was to attend a Husker game. Scott Napolitano of Lincoln saw Carroll on 10/11 and contacted the station, offering Carroll two tickets to the Nebraska-Iowa game as a thanks for his service.
Bryan brought his wife, Andrea, to Memorial Stadium. He was also joined by some of the other soldiers who served with him in Iraq.
