The Nebraska men's basketball program will join the annual U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Drive this Wednesday, Nov. 23, when the Huskers take on Oregon at the Devaney Center. Tip time is set for 8 p.m.
Husker fans are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the game, and cash donations for the cause will also be accepted. The Marines will be stationed near entrances throughout the Devaney Center to accept donations that will brighten the holiday season for needy children.
The men's basketball Toys for Tots collection will be one of four co-sponsored by the Nebraska Athletic Department at Husker events. The final event is on Friday, Nov. 25, when the Husker football team takes on Iowa in the Heroes Game at Memorial Stadium.
Tickets are available for Wednesday's game against Oregon for as little as $10 by visiting Huskers.com or by calling 800-8-BIGRED.
