Cyclists of every age and skill level hit the trails today for the 10th annual Trail Trek 2012.
The event is designed to introduce anyone unfamiliar with Lincoln's trails to the system.
Participants chose the length of their ride, then were able to follow a guide along the route.
Organizers say the miles and miles of trails can be daunting, so it's a great way for beginners to get comfortable exploring the city.
1400 cyclists took part and 100 volunteers made the event possible.
Organizers say it's great to see so many residents getting outside, getting active, and enjoying what the city has to offer.
