Weeks of hard work and intense voting have paid off for students at Irving Middle School.
Windstream presented the school with a $25,000 check Monday.
The students won the money after entering a video into a community service contest.
The school says it will use the money to install LCD projectors in every classroom.
The 8th grade drama class that made the video will also get special head phones to help in their education.
100 school originally entered the contest before being narrowed down to 30 finalists.
Windstream received four million votes for the final schools.
Irving was one of eight grant winners.
