  • Broadcasters Unite For Life Blood Drive, Thursday, January 12: Join 10/11 and 106.3 KFRX for our annual winter blood drive! We will be broadcasting live from outside the 10/11 studios at 840 N. 40th in Lincoln between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. To make a donation, drop by between those hours or make an appointment at ncbb.org. Presenting donors will get a Krispy Kreme Donut, long-sleeved t-shirt, and a chance to win a $25 Krispy Kreme gift card and men’s basketball tickets.
  • Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy, Saturday, January 14: Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket will be filled with the sweet smell of chocolate from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. Local chefs share their sweet creations to raise money for the Historic Haymarket District. Tickets are $35. Visit lincolnhaymarket.org for more information.
  • United Way Women in Philanthropy Helping Hands Auction, January 26: The 10th annual event will be held at the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel. Women will gather to shop, eat, and help raise money to provide diapers and coats for children of local families in need. Learn more at unitedwaylincoln.org.
