Nicole Griffin joined the 10/11 News team in March 2014 as the morning show content producer. In March 2016 she moved into a new role covering the crime beat. You can watch her reports M-F at 5 and 6 p.m.
Nicole grew up in Indianapolis. As a graduate from Ball State University in Muncie, IN, her focus was on news as a double major in Telecommunications and Journalism. The Telecommunications program she was involved in at Ball State is one of the largest undergraduate communications programs in the nation.
Nicole was most recently the anchor of Newslink Indiana, the only live newscast in Delaware County. Her team won the Society of Professional Journalist First Place Award for Best Student Newscast on its election newscast.
In 2010, Nicole interned with Pacers Sports and Entertainment in its Broadcast and Production Department. Her duties included assisting with the live Pacers broadcast that aired on Fox Sports Midwest.
Attending high school at Ben Davis High School, Nicole was a part of the Area 31 Career Center's mass media and broadcast program. She reported and anchored for a weekly show called BDTV.
Nicole enjoys telling stories. She loves the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. She enjoys watching college sports as well and is looking forward to following the Cornhuskers. Nicole also loves being outdoors and is anxious to explore the trails and parks in Nebraska.
