Weekdays 4 p.m.

Courtney Johns anchors 10/11 First at Four weekdays at 4 p.m.

A true Midwestern journalist, Courtney has covered everything from snowstorms to state fair foods. Before joining the 1011 NOW news team, Courtney spent time reporting and anchoring in Minnesota, Iowa, & Missouri.

She studied Journalism, Communication Studies, and Acting at the University of Minnesota. During her undergrad, Courtney held five internships, hosted a morning radio show, and was the president of the school's broadcast journalism club.

With her hand constantly waving in the air, teachers called Courtney “unusually curious” as a child. Now a “grown-up” her favorite part of her job is asking tough questions so she can get to the heart of a story.

When she’s not behind the anchor desk, you can find Courtney running outside, trying new restaurants, or volunteering at the local animal shelter.

Courtney is proud to call Lincoln home and looks forward to sharing stories that matter to the community. Courtney loves connecting with viewers on social media. Be sure to follow her on Twitter and Facebook!
