Brandi Harris joined the 10/11 NOW news team as a reporter in November 2016.
Brandi Harris is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a graduate of Southern University and A&M College, her academic concentration was in Broadcast Journalism as she completed her Mass Communication degree program.
Brandi most recently worked as an intern with the digital media team at WAFB in Baton Rouge. She also served as the President of the university chapter of National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), and she is currently still a member of the professional organization.
In 2011, Brandi interned with the National Urban League as part of the marketing team with its Young Professionals program. Her duties included organizing multiple events throughout their national conference and marketing for corporate sponsors.
Brandi enjoys telling stories and exploring new places. She loves the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. She enjoys watching sports, and she is looking forward to cheering alongside Husker Nation.
In her off time, Brandi loves spending time with her husband and son.
