Weekdays 5-7 a.m., 9-9:30 a.m., 12-12:30 p.m.
Brad Anderson is a meteorologist for the 10/11 NOW weather team. You can watch him weekdays on 10/11 This Morning, Pure Nebraska and 10/11 News at Noon.
Brad Anderson started as the weekend meteorologist in 1995 and moved to the 10/11 morning and noon newscasts in 1998.
"When I first got out of college and started here at 10/11 I didn't know how long I would be here. I am thankful I've had the opportunity to grow and stay here at 10/11. Working with Ken Siemek is invaluable and inspirational."
Brad begins his days before most people are awake and loves the challenge of forecasting Nebraska weather.
"In what other state can you have a roaring blizzard in the west and severe thunderstorms in the east? Temperatures could be in the teens in one part of Nebraska, and another part of the state could have temperatures in the eighties."
The Beatles are Brad's favorite music group, and he is a fan of science fiction movies, television shows and books. "I love Star Trek and Star Wars. I guess that makes me a geek, but I can't help it."
Brad is also a history buff.
Brad values time with his wife and three boys. "We enjoy camping, gardening, watching movies as a family and taking vacations in the Rocky Mountains." He enjoys watching both college (Huskers) and pro football (Vikings).
Brad is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. He has earned both the AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal and The National Weather Association Seal of Approval.
