Dan Corey is the weekend sports anchor/reporter for 10/11 NOW.
Dan comes to us from Iowa and is thrilled to be at 10/11. Dan is originally from Sioux City but did most of his growing up in central Iowa.
He graduated from Morningside College in 2012 and began his professional TV career at KTIV in Sioux City. He then moved to the frozen tundra of North Dakota where he covered many sports, including A LOT of hockey, at WDAZ.
Dan returned home to central Iowa and spent two years at WOI-TV. Dan checked off an item on his "bucket list" by covering the high school teams he grew up watching. Despite working in his home state, Dan considers working at 10/11 an "opportunity of a lifetime".
He is excited to cover the Huskers and focus on local sports in and around Lincoln. Dan loves to tell stories off the field or court and can't wait to find those stories in the area.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time outdoors, watching sports, and being with family and friends. He helps coach Special Olympics teams in bowling, basketball, and track. Dan looks forward to exploring the Husker state and is ready to embrace the culture of Nebraska.
