15-year-old rolls Mini Cooper into creek

LINCOLN, Neb. — Authorities responded to a report of a rollover accident near 6400 W. Agnew Road just after 7:30 a.m. Monday.

According to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, a 15-year-old crashed a Mini Cooper en route to Raymond Central High School.

The vehicle left the roadway, rolled, and came to a stop upside down in a creek, roughly 5 miles north of Raymond.

The teen was able to escape from the vehicle after being trapped temporarily, and was transported to an area hospital to be treated for broken bones and lacerations.
