2 taken into custody after shoplifting from Target, assaulting employees

LINCOLN, Neb. – Two men were taken into custody after shoplifting from Target and assaulting employees Saturday night.

Capt. Reitan with the Lincoln Police Department said the men were confronted by Target employees when they tried taking liquor without paying for it and a struggle ensued. Nobody was seriously injured.

The men then fled the store, located on N 48th Street, and ran north.

Both were taken into custody a short time later.
