4-H Maintains Strong Presence at State Fair

The Nebraska State Fair is the capstone event for 4-H'ers to showcase their educational experiences that have taken place in the past year. Visitors to the Nebraska State Fair Aug. 25-Sept. 4 at Fonner Park in Grand Island can view more than 10,000 4-H exhibits from 2,500 exhibitors across the state, representing all 93 Nebraska counties. Exhibits will be displayed in close to many project areas, including animals, foods, clothing and textiles, robotics, computers, environment, vet science, heritage, leadership and many more. In a Pure Nebraska interview, we talk with Kathleen Lodl with Nebraska Extension about what the state fair means to 4-H.
